Customer Service Representative
Designer Greetings, Inc. has proudly experienced over 40 years of continued growth in the greeting card industry, serving retailers nationwide with greeting cards, gift wrap, boxed notes, invitations, and seasonal products.
We are seeking a Full-Time Customer Service Representative to join our fast-paced Service Center in Edison, NJ. This role requires a strong phone presence, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage high call volume while delivering a professional and positive customer experience.
The ideal candidate is organized, solutions-oriented, and comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday
8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
On-site position (Edison, NJ)
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a high volume of inbound customer calls professionally and efficiently
- Accurately process customer orders and updates in a timely manner
- Resolve inquiries, concerns, and service issues with professionalism and accountability
- Maintain strong working relationships with customers, merchandisers, and internal teams
- Provide administrative support and assist additional departments, including reception, as needed
- Maintain accuracy while meeting performance expectations and deadlines
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 2–3 years of phone-based Customer Service experience required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Professional, confident phone presence
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (basic to intermediate level)
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate degree or some college coursework preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
Pay Range: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
