Logistics Operations Manager
We are seeking a hands-on leader to oversee daily operations, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities - Logistics Operations Manager
-
Lead the day-to-day operations of the terminal, including freight receiving, loading, unloading, staging, dispatch, and delivery coordination.

Supervise and provide direction to a team of approximately five drivers responsible for transporting and handling freight.

Coordinate employee schedules, monitor attendance, and manage daily staffing needs.

Promote efficient operations while maintaining high standards of productivity and customer service.

Track operational performance and identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.

Work closely with departments such as Human Resources, Safety, Finance, Customer Service, and Sales to support overall business operations.

Ensures safety and compliance with FMCSA, DOT, OSHA

Adheres to company policies and procedures

Demonstrated leadership and operational management skills

Strong critical thinking and decision making abilities

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage daily operations with minimal supervision

Minimum of 1+ year of related experience in terminal operations, warehousing, transportation, or a related field.

High School Diploma or GED (equivalent)

Ability to pass a background and drug screening
