Duties
- Measure, cut, fabricate, and install glass panels, windows, and doors according to schematics and blueprints
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform precise installations of glass fixtures, cabinetry, trim carpentry, and metal framing
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely while maintaining proper posture and technique
- Apply caulking, sealing, and finishing touches to ensure airtight and weatherproof installations
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards and project timelines
Skills
- Proficiency in construction estimating and blueprint reading for accurate project planning
- Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, drills, levels, and measuring tapes; experienced with power tools for fabrication and installation
- Strong background in glass installation, and fixture setup
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical endurance throughout the workday
- Experience with construction site safety protocols and working in various environments including commercial or residential sites
- Excellent problem-solving skills with an eye for detail; capable of fabricating components as needed for custom projects
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
