DISHWASHER – DOWNTOWN ASHEVILLE
Palmar Latin Kitchen is looking for a reliable, hardworking Dishwasher to join our growing kitchen team.
This is an essential role in a chef-driven restaurant where every team member contributes to creating memorable dining experiences. We're looking for someone who takes pride in keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and running efficiently while supporting the entire culinary team.
Compensation
- $18-$20 per hour depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment following food safety standards
- Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized, and stocked throughout service
- Help maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen, including floors, workstations, and storage areas
- Properly handle waste, recycling, and kitchen supplies
- Work closely with the front and back of the house team to ensure a smooth and efficient service
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus, but not required
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for 6 hours
- Commitment to cleanliness, organization, and hospitality
