Position Summary
The Process Assurance Analyst is an individual contributor role within the Value Chain Optimization (VCO) organization, responsible for operating and sustaining the end‑to‑end process governance and assurance framework for the Plan‑to‑Produce process. This role ensures that standards, decision rights, and change‑control mechanisms are consistently applied, traceable, and audit‑ready.
The Process Assurance Analyst manages governance workflows, tracks adherence to approved standards, and ensures deviations are identified, assessed, documented, and resolved through established escalation and corrective‑action pathways. Working closely with Process Optimization Specialists, Standards & Documentation Coordinators, and process owners, this role provides the governance discipline, control, and traceability needed to sustain standard work after process changes are approved.
Success in this role depends on governance discipline, risk awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate across stakeholders to enforce standards without direct ownership of process design or improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Operates and maintains the end‑to‑end process governance engine, including governance cadence, agendas, decision logs, and change‑control workflows.
Manages governance workflows and traceability requirements for process standards, ensuring change‑control decisions are properly routed, documented, and resolved prior to release into the Value Chain Optimization repository.
Partners with Process Optimization Specialists and subject‑matter experts to identify where process standards are required and ensure appropriate governance classification and approval routing.
Tracks process adherence, health, and maturity using governance dashboards and defined compliance and maturity metrics.
Surfaces deviations from approved standards, determines appropriate corrective or escalation actions, and drives resolution with process owners and relevant stakeholders.
Ensures governance outcomes, change‑control dispositions, and exception resolutions are accurately captured, partnering with the Standards & Documentation Coordinator for formal documentation and repository updates.
Supports audit and assurance activities by ensuring governance documentation is complete, current, traceable, and readily accessible.
Continuously improves governance processes, tools, and workflows to increase clarity, efficiency, and adoption across the organization.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, Operations Management, or Supply Chain Management.
Two (2) years of experience in process governance, assurance, compliance, or operational control roles.
Experience with audit support, traceability practices, and cross-functional stakeholder coordination preferred.
Process Governance & Controls – Strong understanding of governance frameworks, decision rights, change‑control mechanisms, and compliance expectations.
Adherence & Maturity Monitoring – Ability to track process adherence, health, and maturity using governance dashboards and defined compliance metrics.
Audit & Assurance Support – Experience supporting audit and assurance activities, with a focus on documentation completeness, accuracy, and traceability.
Stakeholder Coordination & Enforcement – Effective at coordinating across process owners, optimization specialists, SMEs, and standards coordinators to enforce governance expect
