Pay Rate: $40 / hour and up based on experience

As a K-12 school-based Physical Education Teacher in Brookeville, MD, your Days Will Include:
- Plan and deliver engaging physical education lessons that promote fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and lifelong healthy habits.
- Develop age-appropriate activities that improve students' motor skills, coordination, strength, and overall physical wellness.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment where all students can participate and succeed.
- Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback on physical performance, participation, and personal growth.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student development and school-wide wellness initiatives.
- Organize and supervise recreational activities, fitness programs, and school athletic events as needed.
- Maintain equipment, enforce safety procedures, and comply with district, state, and federal educational standards.
Job Details
- Position: Contract (option to renew) in a school setting
- Hours: Full-time (Monday–Friday)
- Caseload: Elementary, Middle, and High School options
Successful Candidates Possess
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a related field (required)
- Active or pending Maryland Physical Education teaching license, or the ability to obtain one (required)
- Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting (preferred)
- The ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
