Assistant Store Manager – Mr. Subs (Morristown)
Mr. Subs is one of the fastest-growing sandwich franchises in New Jersey, and we are looking for a motivated, energetic, and reliable Store Manager to join our team. This position will initially start as an Assistant Manager working directly under the owner to learn the business, systems, and operations. Once training is completed, the role will transition into a full-time Store Manager position overseeing daily operations.
Responsibilities
The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily store operations, including:
- Staffing, scheduling, and team leadership
- Food safety and quality control
- Inventory management and product ordering
- Monitoring food cost, waste, and loss prevention
- Maintaining store cleanliness and organization
- Ensuring brand standards and operational compliance
- Cash handling and financial accountability
- Equipment maintenance and operational readiness
Managers ensure the store runs smoothly and that the team is operating efficiently at all times. They lead by example, keep employees productive during slower periods, and maintain a clean and organized environment.
Managers are also responsible for training, developing, and mentoring team members, conducting new hire orientation, and building a strong, positive team culture.

Requirements
- Ability to work 50+ hours per week
- Ability to perform and train all store positions, including line and kitchen roles
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision
- Willingness to step up and work additional hours during emergencies or operational needs
- Must be comfortable acting as a Key Holder
