Job Overview
Schultz Construction is seeking a skilled Lead Carpenter/Framer to join our team! This individual will be responsible for constructing frameworks and structures for various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and PEMB construction, demonstrating proficiency in both traditional and modern framing techniques. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and a commitment to safety on the job site.
Responsibilities
- Construct and install frameworks for buildings, including walls, roofs, and floors using wood, metal studs, or PEMB Components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of projects.
- Ability to perform metal building erection
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various carpentry tasks, including trim carpentry, siding, roofing, PEMB Structures
- Operate heavy equipment when necessary to assist in construction processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in construction management with a focus on framing techniques.
- Proficiency in Wood Framing, Metal Stud Framing, Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings.
- Familiarity with heavy lifting requirements associated with construction tasks.
- Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of safety regulations.
- Ability to perform remodeling tasks as needed while ensuring high-quality workmanship.

Job Type: Full-time
Base Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
