Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders efficiently and accurately
- Handle cash transactions, perform cashiering duties, and manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries promptly
- Maintain food safety standards by following proper food handling, preparation, and sanitation procedures
- Assist in food preparation and food service tasks to support café operations during busy periods
- Manage time effectively to ensure quick turnaround times while maintaining quality standards
Skills
- Proven experience as a barista with strong coffee-making skills and familiarity with café environments
- Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for seamless transactions
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
- Knowledge of food safety, food handling, and basic math for retail math calculations
- Ability to perform serving duties efficiently while maintaining cleanliness and organization
- Experience in the food industry or retail math is a plus for understanding sales and cash handling procedures
Pay: $23.70 - $28.54 per hour
