We're a growing beauty brand hiring an experienced Live Selling Host to run shows on Whatnot and TikTok Live from our NYC studio. Our team handles inventory, listings, packing, fulfillment, and tech — your only job is to be magnetic on camera and move product.
What you'll do
- Host live beauty/skincare shows on a set schedule (3–4 sessions/week, ~2–3 hrs each)
- Present products through demos, and try-ons; run auctions, bundles, giveaways, and flash deals
- Engage the chat in real time, answer skincare/product questions, and build a loyal repeat audience
- Create urgency and drive conversions through live selling tactics
- Give post-show feedback on what sold and what didn't
Requirements
- Proven live selling experience (Whatnot, TikTok Live, Poshmark Live, or similar) — you have the numbers to prove it
- Genuine beauty knowledge: you can explain why an ingredient or product is worth the hype and speak credibly about skincare and makeup
- High energy sustained across 2–4 hour sessions
- Comfortable multitasking: presenting, reading chat, answering questions, managing show flow
- Reliable and punctual — a live audience is waiting
- Account in good standing (no suspensions/violations)
Nice to have
- Retail beauty background (Sephora, Ulta, MAC, department store counters)
- A beauty-focused TikTok or Instagram (any size — we care about quality, not follower count)
Compensation
- $25/hr base + commission on show sales
- Performance bonuses for beating per-show targets; ongoing weekly work if numbers are strong
