Responsibilities
- Assist in interpreting construction plans and blueprints to execute project specifications accurately
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as concrete cutting, formwork construction, and masonry work
- Perform heavy lifting and material handling for tasks like rebar installation, steel framing, and heavy equipment operation
- Mix and pour concrete using mixers and pumps; finish concrete surfaces with proper techniques for smoothness and durability
- Install structural elements including metal stud framing, drywall, stucco, roofing components, and flooring
- Follow construction safety regulations diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members
- Support renovation and restoration projects by performing plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, and masonry tasks
Experience
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in related roles is highly preferred
- Knowledge of construction estimating, schematics interpretation, and blueprint specification reading is advantageous
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and concrete pumping systems is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery safely and effectively
- Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols is essential
- Practical experience in concrete forming, finishing, pouring, cutting, and reinforcement installation will set you apart
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately to ensure project precision
