Maintenance Technician - Ridgewood Mobile Home Park, Lakewood, CO, Longview Mobile Home Park, Denver, CO, and Mile High Community, Commerce City, CO

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Maintenance Technician works to maintain and repair rental properties with the below duties as instructed:
- 30 hours/week of general maintenance and upkeep of mobile home communities in Lakewood, Denver, and Commerce City, CO
- Limited additional hours and night/weekend on-call time as needed
- Work-orders and other “handyman-type” maintenance projects and repairs
- Painting, light carpentry, simple utility hook-up repairs, winterizing park, etc.
- Weeding, mowing, planting, landscape maintenance, and trash pick-up as needed
- Ability to snow plow streets within the park using the park pick-up truck and attached plow. Prior experience or certification necessary
- Shoveling and de-icing of sidewalks and other common areas
- Identify and communicate maintenance issues with on-site manager
- Discuss larger maintenance projects with third-party contractors. Understand and relay important points and status updates to on-site manager and asset manager
- Occasionally assist with maintenance operations at mobile home community in Commerce City, and Denver, CO (likely two days per week)
- Assist on-site manager with administrative tasks as needed, such as delivering resident notices and parking enforcement
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Availability to work the following hours: Monday - Friday; 9:00am - 5:00pm
- Occasionally Saturday and Sunday as needed
- Must be available by cell phone 24 hours a day when on-call
- Must have current driver’s license and be able to operate a pick-up truck with snow plow attached as needed
- Prior porter, handyman, light maintenance experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to stand, walk, crouch for extended periods, and otherwise move about the property as necessary to perform generally active maintenance activities
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Ability to speak and understand English. Ability to speak and understand Spanish is a plus, but not required
- If applicant is an existing resident, must have history of on-time rental payments and abiding by Park rules and regulations
- Applicant must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Salary Range: $23 - $26/hr
