Job Summary
This is a role in manufacturing environment working in the production plant. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our manufacturing processes meet stringent quality standards by performing inspections, analyzing data, and supporting quality management systems. Your expertise will help uphold our reputation for high-quality products while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
Duties
Safety, Health, Environment & Security:
· Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
· Promote a safe work environment with zero injuries or health risks.
· Report unsafe conditions, incidents, or near misses promptly.
· Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area in support of plant 5S initiatives.
Quality & Production Responsibilities
· Perform routine quality inspections and testing on Lockset Resin products and raw materials.
· Accurately document test results, measurements, and inspection data.
· Assist with identifying and segregating non-conforming materials or products.
· Support quality investigations, material trials, and continuous improvement activities.
· Work closely with production teams to help resolve quality-related concerns.
· Ensure products meet company quality standards and customer specifications.
· Assist with maintaining quality records and documentation.
· Support ISO quality system activities and internal audits as needed.
Teamwork & Communication
· Maintain regular attendance and reliability.
· Work collaboratively with production, warehouse, and leadership teams.
· Accept coaching and feedback in a positive and professional manner.
· Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accountability.
Contribute to a positive team-oriented environment.
Qualifications
Required
· High school diploma or GED required.
· Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
Preferred
· Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience.
· Prior quality inspection or testing experience.
· Experience using measuring tools or inspection equipment.
· Familiarity with quality documentation or reporting processes.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
