Duties
- Assist with various remodeling tasks including carpentry, drywall, flooring, tile laying, and painting to support project completion.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to understand project requirements.
- Support the setup and teardown of job sites, including framing, door hanging, caulking, and trim carpentry.
- Help with material handling, fabrication, and installation of cabinetry, glass, countertops, and fixtures.
- Perform basic construction inspection tasks such as verifying measurements and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Willingness to learn construction techniques such as concrete forming, masonry, stucco application, roofing, restoration work, and heavy equipment operation.
- Basic familiarity with construction management software like Bluebeam is a plus.
- Experience or interest in construction estimating and site inspection is advantageous but not required.
- Ability to read blueprints or schematics is preferred; training will be provided if needed.
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude; dependable team player committed to safety and quality.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy materials safely, and perform manual labor outdoors or indoors in various weather conditions.
- Prior experience with hand tools, power tools, or construction site work is beneficial but not mandatory; we provide comprehensive training for motivated learners.
