Restaurant Manager / Assistant Manager – Bonanza Steakhouse

Responsibilities Include:
- Leading, motivating, training, and developing team members
- Creating a positive and productive work environment
- Ensuring excellent customer service and guest satisfaction
- Managing daily restaurant operations and maintaining company standards
- Creating and managing employee schedules based on business needs
- Entering and reviewing daily sales information accurately
- Handling cash management, deposits, and financial accountability
- Ordering, receiving, stocking, and organizing supplies
- Maintaining proper inventory controls and following FIFO procedures
- Ensuring food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are maintained
- Improving efficiency, organization, and overall restaurant performance
- Learning and utilizing restaurant computer systems and operational programs
- Supporting all areas of the restaurant operation when needed
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have:
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- A trustworthy, dependable, and professional attitude
- The ability to work independently and make good decisions
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn restaurant systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work various shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
- Ability to work approximately 40-50 hours per week to support restaurant operations
- Ability to perform physical restaurant duties including standing, walking, bending, lifting, stocking, and moving supplies weighing approximately 5–50 lbs
- Ability to work in normal restaurant environments including kitchen areas, coolers, and freezers
- ServSafe certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Employment Requirements:
Selected candidates may be required to successfully complete:
- Background/security screening
- Pre-employment drug screening
- Required employment physical evaluation (if applicable)
Compensation:
Starting pay will be based on your experience, leadership ability, and demonstrated skill level.
Candidates with strong restaurant management experience may qualify for higher starting compensation. Individuals with limited experience but strong leadership potential may begin at a training rate while developing the skills required for the position.
