Job Title: Accounting Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Working Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Salary: $80,000–$100,000 per year, depending on experience
Job Summary
A well-established international manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee its day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
This position will manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger activities, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. The Accounting Manager will also supervise accounting staff, support audits, and provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and support accounting staff responsible for AP, AR, and financial operations

Review and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and financial reports

Oversee the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow

Prepare monthly, quarterly, semiannual, and annual cash flow forecasts and reports

Develop and maintain short-term and long-term cash flow plans

Lead the company’s budgeting process and prepare periodic budgets

Prepare monthly revenue and profit forecasts

Analyze budget-to-actual variances and report findings to senior management

Coordinate with Procurement, Production Control, Engineering, and other departments regarding payment and receivable forecasts

Manage annual financial audits and other external audits

Assign responsibilities, establish goals, evaluate performance, and support the development of accounting team members

Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and applicable accounting standards
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a combination of relevant education and experience

Approximately 10 years of accounting experience, including Accounting Manager-level responsibilities

Strong experience managing AP, AR, general ledger, cash flow, and financial reporting

Experience preparing company budgets, forecasts, or long-term business plans

Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Previous experience managing and developing accounting staff

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work effectively in an international, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Preferred Qualifications

Experience working for a manufacturing or international company

Experience supporting financial audits

Strong business judgment and the ability to communicate effectively with employees and management at all levels

Ability to prepare clear and effective financial reports
Some domestic travel may be required, with occasional international travel.
