Job Summary
The Spirituality & Wellness Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating programs that support the spiritual, emotional, social, and holistic well-being of residents at The Boston Home. Working collaboratively with residents, families, staff, volunteers, and community partners, this position promotes an inclusive environment that honors individual beliefs, values, cultures, and personal journeys while enhancing quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and facilitate spiritual and religious services for residents of diverse faith traditions.
- Arrange visits from clergy, chaplains, spiritual leaders, and faith communities.
- Provide individual spiritual support and compassionate listening to residents and families.
- Support residents during times of illness, loss, grief, transition, and end-of-life care.
- Ensure residents have access to spiritual resources, materials, and observances that are meaningful to them.
- Coordinate memorial services and remembrance events for residents and families.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy, Social Work, Counseling, Theology, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field preferred.
- Experience working with adults with disabilities, chronic illness, long-term care residents, or older adults preferred.
- Knowledge of diverse faith traditions, spiritual practices, and wellness approaches.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Experience coordinating programs, volunteers, and community partnerships preferred.

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
