Join Our Host-Cashier Team! Are you known for your welcoming personality and ability to make people feel right at home? We are seeking a friendly, organized, and upbeat Host-Cashier to be the heartbeat of our restaurant’s front-of-house experience.
As the first and last point of contact for our guests, you will do more than just seat people—you will set the tone for an enjoyable and memorable dining experience. What You’ll Do:

Greet every guest like they’re family—warm, professional, and attentive.

Guide guests to their preferred seating (booth or table? You’ve got it!).

Keep things moving smoothly by rotating seating evenly among servers.

Communicate guest celebrations to staff (birthdays, anniversaries—you name it!).

Handle reservations, answer phones, and manage guest flow.

Support the Governor's Grill team when needed and keep your area sparkling clean.

Know our menu so well you could recommend a dish in your sleep.

Be the calm in the storm—keeping composure during rushes and busy shifts.

End every visit with a thank-you and an invitation to return.
Education & Experience:

Must be 18 years or older.

Outstanding customer service skills with a naturally friendly demeanor.

Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure.

Organized, punctual, and dependable.

Fluent in English (bonus points if you're bilingual!).

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Previous cash handling experience a plus!
