American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVOR position requiring a minimum of 18 months of CVOR experience and an active GA or Compact RN license.

Work in a Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) unit at an acute care hospital in Atlanta, GA
-
Night shift, 12-hour shifts

13-week assignment

Strong endovascular experience required as part of the role's case mix

Cardiac and vascular procedures performed, including cannulations and aortic cases

Active GA or Compact RN license currently in hand

Minimum 18 months of full-time CVOR experience within the last 3 years in a setting of similar acuity

Strong endovascular (wires) experience required

Proficiency across cardiac and vascular procedures, including cannulations and aortic cases (adult and/or congenital)

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Perform scrub and/or circulating duties for cardiovascular and endovascular surgical cases

Former permanent staff of Emory or Houston facilities must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system; if returning to the same facility, a minimum 18-month separation is required

RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days per contract if not overlapping with a holiday period, or a maximum of 3 days if RTO falls on or near a holiday

Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per contract, and consecutive RTO days during the holiday period will not be approved
