Break Baker
Established in 1996, Taggart’s Grill is one of Utah’s favorite hidden restaurants. Located just a few miles from Morgan, UT we’re a family style restaurant that serves up a wide variety of unique homemade American cuisine, scrumptious desserts, and friendly service.

We are currently looking to hire a full time Bread Baker to join our experienced team.
Job Responsibilities:
● Prepare and produce our signature rosemary garlic parmesan dinner rolls, hamburger buns, and pita bread
● Measure and weigh flour and other ingredients to prepare doughs using scales or graduated containers
● Maintain adequate supply of all prepared products on hand and ensures the proper storage and refrigeration
● Keep spoilage/waste to a minimum by preparing proper quantities and rotating products
● Clean, break down, and put away all baking equipment including: ovens, mixers, proofer, floors, freezer, and refrigerators.
Compensation, Work Hours, & Benefits:
Full Time Bread Bakers start at $16/hr. The schedule for this position is mostly afternoon / evenings and does require some weekend work.
Benefits include annual bonuses, bi-annual performance reviews with opportunities for merit pay increases, and all staff enjoy free shift meals each work day. We are always closed on Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day each and every year.

● Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in ability to safely and effectively operate standard foodservice baking equipment

● Follows directions and specific instructions
Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Education and Experience Requirements:
● Valid Weber-Morgan County Food Handler’s Card (required within 1 week of start date)
● One to more years of experience as a baker, bakery assistant, line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook preferred but not required
