Job Overview
We are a new distillery and cocktail lounge seeking skilled and experienced bartenders. The ideal candidate will have craft cocktail experience, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to maintain a clean and organized work space as well as a fun and professional atmosphere. Pay rates will be based on prior experience and commitment level.
Duties
- Innovative cocktail crafting.
- Keep bar stocked and ready.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Accurately and efficiently operate POS systems.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
- Demonstrate strong time management skills to handle peak hours efficiently while maintaining quality service.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of bartending.
- Solid knowledge of cocktails and cocktail ingredients as well as ability to improvise. You will be tested at the first in-person interview. Serious candidates only.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and deposits.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices within the food industry.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must have dependable transportation.
Pay: $5.00 - $9.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 – 40.0 per week
