Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility, transfer, lifting, and Accu check
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately
- Preparing meals, incontinence, routine health, laundry, companionship, outside home
- Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with nursing staff to deliver patient-centered care in an in-home care environments
- Maintain aseptic techniques during procedures like catheter care or wound management to prevent infection
Requirements
- Valid CNA certification from an accredited program with current licensure in the state of employment
- Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS) certification required
- Strong communication skills and compassionate caregiving approach
- Ability to lift and transfer patient safely
