Behavior Technician (BT) Summary
As a Behavior Technician (BT) at Tealway ABA, you will implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy programs directly with clients under the close supervision of a BCBA. This role is essential to our clients’ success and involves teaching new skills, reducing challenging behaviors, and helping families thrive.
Key Responsibilities of a Behavior Technician (BT)
· Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in home & community settings
· Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies created by the supervising BCBA
· Collect and record accurate data on client progress
· Communicate regularly with supervising BCBA on client needs and progress
· Follow ethical guidelines and treatment protocols set by the BACB and Tealway ABA
Qualifications
Required:
· Must live in the Manhattan area or be willing to commute there
· Bachelor's degree in related field
· Clear background check and ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification
· Comfortability with navigating electronics (iPad, video calls, apps)
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Passion for working with children and families
· Reliable transportation to client homes
Preferred:
· Experience working with children with autism or developmental delays
