The Production Assembler is responsible for assembling medical device components and products according to established work instructions, manufacturing procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work accurately in a production environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assemble medical device components and products using hand tools, fixtures, and manufacturing equipment.
- Follow detailed work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and production specifications.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections to identify defects and ensure product quality.
- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
- Use microscopes and other inspection equipment as required.
- Identify and report quality issues, damaged components, or production discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow company safety procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and quality requirements.
- Meet established production, quality, and efficiency standards.
- Perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining consistent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Communicate production issues and concerns to supervisors or team leads.
- Perform other production and assembly duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, or medical device experience preferred.
- Ability to read and follow written work instructions and procedures
