American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a day shift ICU Stepdown Unit position requiring at least 1 year of stepdown experience and current ACLS and NIHSS certifications.

12-bed ICU Stepdown Unit in a hospital setting

Medical Surgical Acute unit environment
-
Day shift schedule: 07:00–19:00

13-week contract

Active RN license in Kansas (KS) or a compact state
-
Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross

Current ACLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross

Current NIHSS certification
-
Current DCI/BVP (De-escalation/Workplace Violence Prevention) certification — can be completed via Relias, Healthcare Staffing Hire, or free CDC resource

Minimum 1 year of experience in ICU stepdown or similar specialty

DOB and SSN required for consideration

EMR experience required — specific system will be confirmed prior to submission

Provide direct patient care as a day shift RN in a 12-bed ICU stepdown unit
