Twinsburg Veterinary Hospital and Pet Lodge
We are now accepting resumes for a full-time veterinary assistant. Applicants will be assisting doctors and staff with examinations and diagnostics. We have 4 full-time veterinarians who serve our clients Monday through Saturday. Our services include both wellness and non-routine exams, surgical procedures, digital x-ray, ultrasound, canine rehabilitation, and acupuncture. In addition to offering great veterinary care, we have a boarding facility on site.
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of canine and feline vaccinations and preventative medicine
- Knowledge of safe and proper animal handling techniques
- Assist doctors during exams and restrain patients
- Must be able to lift and carry 50lb and withstand long periods on your feet
- Understanding of animal behavior
- Clean and sterilize equipment and facility
- Feed and administer medications as directed by veterinarian
- Assist with receptionist responsibilities (scheduling appointments, taking payment)
Schedule:
- Set schedule Monday - Friday
- three, 12hr shifts 7am -7pm
- plus every other Saturday from 7am -2pm
Applicants should possess excellent communication skills and be able to work well with a team. We are a busy practice and we will be looking for a team member who can multi-task and prioritize appropriately.
