We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 1 Year Old Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Design and implement age-appropriate curriculum development that promotes physical, cognitive, social, and emotional growth for one-year-olds
- Provide attentive toddler care by monitoring health, safety, and well-being throughout the day
- Manage classroom dynamics with effective behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions and independence
- Conduct child development instruction aligned with early childhood education standards and best practices
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns through meetings or written updates
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment following childcare regulations and health protocols including first aid and CPR readiness
- Document lesson planning, daily activities, and developmental assessments to track each child's growth trajectory
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with children in early childhood settings or daycare environments
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers
- Experience in curriculum development tailored for early learners, especially those in the one-year-old age group
- Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and children using strong communication skills
- Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations in childcare settings
- Experience teaching physical education or literacy education suitable for infants or toddlers is a plus
