The ECI Administrative & Program Support Specialist provides administrative, referral intake, data entry, billing support, records management, and program coordination support for the Texas Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) program. This position serves as a primary support to the ECI Director and multidisciplinary team by answering calls, receiving and processing referrals, entering information into required systems including TKids, the electronic health record, and billing systems, maintaining accurate program records, monitoring timelines, preparing reports, and assisting with compliance, audit, and contract-related tracking. The position requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, customer service, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced program serving children and families.
Pay: $19 - $24 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of administrative support, healthcare office, human services, education, social services, or related experience required.
- Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to accurately enter and maintain data in multiple electronic systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA, agency policy, and applicable state and federal requirements.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate professionally with families, referral sources, staff, and community partners.
- Ability to organize work, prioritize deadlines, and follow through on tasks with limited supervision.
- Ability to pass required background checks and meet agency employment requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Medical Office Technology, Early Childhood Education, or related field preferred.
- Experience with ECI, Medicaid, insurance billing, electronic health records, TKids, Cerner/Promedda, or other client data systems preferred.
- Experience preparing reports, tracking compliance deadlines, maintaining spreadsheets, or supporting audits preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
