Maintenance Technician – Apartment Community

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our apartment community team. The ideal candidate will have experience in apartment maintenance, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to providing residents with a safe, well-maintained community.
Responsibilities:
- Complete service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the community.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, and general maintenance issues.
- Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including painting, repairs, and inspections.
- Assist with maintaining community amenities, common areas, and grounds.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company policies and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work orders.
- Identify and report any safety concerns or major repair needs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance.
- EPA Certification preferred.
- HVAC Certification a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
