Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced nightlife environment. As a Barback, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our bar operates smoothly and efficiently, supporting bartenders and enhancing the overall guest experience. This position requires a strong commitment to cleanliness, organization, and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders in preparing drinks and serving customers promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area including cleaning bar top, tables, and the facility.
- Stock and replenish bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice.
- Support food preparation tasks when necessary to ensure timely service.
- Buss tables in the bar area to maintain a tidy environment for guests.
- Help clean volleyball courts at the end of the night
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with guests and staff.
- Adhere to food handling and safety regulations at all times.
- Prep food items and put them in the oven.
- Ensuring the facility is clean at the end of the night by sweeping floors and walkways, taking out the trash and maintaining bathroom cleanliness.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
- Experience in food preparation, serving, or catering is beneficial.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and maintaining hygiene standards in food service environments.
- Initiative towards cleaning and stocking the facility
- A proactive attitude towards teamwork and supporting fellow staff members.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
