- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Kia vehicles and other makes and models
- Accurately diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Perform warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
- Conduct multi-point inspections and recommend needed maintenance
- Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding repair status and recommendations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all dealership and manufacturer safety procedures
- Stay current on Kia technical training and new vehicle technology
- Previous experience as an automotive technician required
- ASE Certifications preferred (not required)
- Kia experience is a plus but not required
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Knowledge of electrical, engine, transmission, suspension, steering, and brake systems
- Ability to use diagnostic scan tools and service information systems
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to teamwork
- Ability to efficiently manage time in a fast-paced environment
