Job Overview
The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest services in a fast-paced food industry environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and providing timely service.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, Toast.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests' tables.
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with their meals and address any concerns promptly.
- Process payments accurately using cash handling procedures and cash registers.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Assist with food preparation as needed to support kitchen staff during busy periods.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction.
Skills
- Experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong guest services skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for accurate order taking and cash handling.
- Proficiency in using POS systems; familiarity with Toast is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
