Summary:
Project management and technical support professional with experience coordinating water well and pumping system projects, preparing estimates, and supporting field operations. Skilled in troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining pumps, controls, and VFD systems while ensuring quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Project Management:
o Assist phone traffic regarding project details
o Generate estimates and bids for pumps, well rehabs, well abandonments, VFD’s and related components
o Establish an inventory level and ordering system for materials, minimizing waste
o Attend preconstruction meetings
o Help crews prepare for jobs (scope review, materials, etc.)
o Continually search for leads and bids by using multiple avenues
o Stay current on all local and state codes, passing down vital information to crews
o Monitor quality control of crew operation, appearance, and safety
o Assist department managers
o Request submittals and compile documents to submit to engineers
Technical Support:
o Troubleshoot and Diagnose Pump and Well Problems (Mechanical & Electrical)
o Program and start-up pumping systems and controls
o Assist with on-site installation and removal of pumping equipment
o Fabricate pumping system components and tooling
o Perform low voltage wiring of process systems
o Research new ways to control pumping systems
o Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and install VFD’s
General:
o Help set and carry out goals for departments
o Enforce good crew and customer relationships
o Assist in other departments as needed
o Wear clean clothing and be neat in appearance
o Take part in training sessions, workshops, etc.
o Promote Traut Companies products and services
o Follow company rules, procedures, and policies
Job Standards:
Level of Education: College Degree (Design, Project Mgt, Engineering)
Level of Experience: Exp preferred;
Abilities and Skills:
- Required: Technical reading and writing; Computer Skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, CAD)
- Preferred: Fluid Dynamics (Pump performance calculations), Pump and Well Systems,
Electrical circuits (120v-480v, 1 & 3 Phase) & Process wiring (low voltage);
Certification Requirements: 40-hour safety;

Salary Range: $80-100K/Year (Exempt position)
Supplemental Pay: N/A
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
