American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring 2 years of experience, a TX or compact RN license, and ACLS/BLS certification.

Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab of an acute care hospital setting
-
13-week assignment with 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 0700-1730 with a rotating day off

Requires 1 weekday call per week and 1 weekend call per month

Uses Epic EMR

May float to the ED to serve as a sitter or to med-surg floors to answer call lights during downtime

40 hours per week guaranteed

Active TX or Compact RN license required

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum 2 years of experience required

Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including employment dates and rehire eligibility

Provide nursing care within the Cardiac Cath Lab, supporting cardiac procedures and patient monitoring

May be asked to float to other departments during downtime, including the ED and med-surg units

Candidates who were directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility, including CHI and Dignity, within the past year are not eligible; those employed PRN through outside firms will be considered
