American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of acute or surgical experience for an evening shift position at a Level III Trauma Center in Milwaukee, WI.

Fast-paced acute care hospital setting with high patient acuity, designated as a Level III Trauma Center, Level III NICU, Magnet facility, and Primary Stroke Center
-
Radiology department includes 5 diagnostic rooms, 2 fluoro rooms, 1 video swallow room, 2 clinic diagnostic rooms, 3 pain clinic rooms, and 1 dental room

Patient population includes inpatient, outpatient, ED, and procedural cases across all age ranges with some pediatric patients
-
Average caseload of 15–20 patients per tech per day

Fluoroscopy procedures include ERCPs, bronchoscopies, pain clinic procedures, and urology cases
-
OR procedures include orthopedic, general, and spine cases; comfort with O-arm preferred
-
EMR is Epic; PACS is McKesson
-
Equipment includes GE, Fuji, and Del Medical X-ray systems, GE 9900 and Elite C-arms, and Medtronic O-arms
-
8-hour evening shifts, Monday–Friday with mid-shift start times between 10:30 AM and 12:00 PM

Every other weekend rotation required

One on-call shift per week

One holiday shift required per contract

Minimum of 2 years of acute or surgical Radiology experience required
-
ARRT certification required
-
Wisconsin state license required (license required if applicable)

Current BLS required
-
Proficiency in surgical/procedural imaging, general radiology, and portable X-rays required
-
Fluoro experience including ERCPs, bronchoscopies, and pain clinic procedures required
-
OR experience including orthopedic, general, and spine cases required
-
Mid-to-high level acute care hospital experience required
-
Epic EMR experience required
-
Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration

Minimum of 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN required for consideration
-
First-time travelers may be considered depending on skill level; highly competent surgery and procedure experience is strongly preferred
-
Department support includes a lead tech on first shift, on-site radiologist 24/7, respiratory therapy 24/7, hospitalist 24/7, and intensivist 24/7
-
Orientation includes facility new employee orientation (NEO) followed by 7 days of department-specific training

Surgery scrubs are provided in-house
