Play a vital role in helping cardiac patients safely recover, transition, and return home following life-changing procedures. As a Cardiac Cath Technician in UVA Health's Cardiac Transition Unit (CTU), you will be an essential member of a collaborative cardiovascular care team. Working alongside experienced nurses and providers, you will support patients through critical phases of care while utilizing advanced skills that go beyond those found in many traditional technician roles.
The Cardiac Transition Unit is a unique environment that cares for patients recovering from cardiovascular procedures and preparing for discharge. This role combines hands-on patient care, technical expertise, and close collaboration with nursing staff in a fast-paced setting where every team member plays an important role.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent.
Experience: No experience required.
Licensure: American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Job requires standing for prolonged periods and frequently bending/stooping/traveling. Ability to lift/push/pull > 100lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, radiation, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
The pay range for this role is $15.68 - $24.30 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
