A store manager oversees a retail store's daily operations, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service, while also striving to achieve sales targets and maintain profitability. This position often requires working non-traditional hours (evenings, weekends, and holidays) to successfully meet customers’ needs. The successful candidate will play a key role in continuously increasing sales volume and revenue. This position will require up to 25% travel.
- Recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising employees.
- Scheduling and assigning tasks.
- Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback.
- Motivating and coaching staff to achieve sales goals.
- Resolving first step disciplinary issues.
- Ensuring the store is clean, organized, and welcoming for customers.
- Managing inventory levels and ordering merchandise.
- Implementing and maintaining store policies and procedures.
- Managing cash flow and handling financial transactions.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Setting sales targets and developing strategies to achieve them.
- Resolving customer complaints and issues.
- Providing excellent customer service and creating a positive shopping experience.
- Monitoring sales trends and identifying areas for improvement.
- Preparing reports on sales, inventory, and expenses.
- Managing budgets and controlling costs.
- Developing marketing and promotional materials.
- Liaising with suppliers and headquarters.
- Opening and/or closing the store.
- Implementing security measures.
- Implement the Business Ready Store policy (BRS).
- Oversee the E-Commerce operation
- Ensure adequate delivery operation.
- Staying informed about market trends and competitor activities.
- Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates year-round

- 5+ years’ experience in retail operations or new store opening management; experience in the food industry preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a team and driving results
- College degree and/or equivalent experience required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Point of Sales (POS) system.
- Background and credit check required.
