Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Truck Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Your expertise in handling different types of cargo, including refrigerated goods and hazardous materials, will be essential in maintaining our commitment to excellence. Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial trucks on over-the-road (OTR) routes, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
- Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transport.
- Drive various types of trailers, including refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, and specialized equipment for hazardous or dangerous goods.
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery schedules while optimizing fuel consumption.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and cargo documentation in compliance with regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving across long distances.
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols related to dangerous goods transportation.
- Proficiency in operating manual transmission trucks and handling logistics cargo handling procedures.
- Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and automobile transportation equipment.
- Strong skills in GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time traffic updates.
- Ability to load & unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with all federal and state trucking laws.

Pay: $1,600.00 - $1,800.00 per week
