Salary: $315/day. Weekly pay.
Job Summary
Pacific Channel Transportation is seeking a CDL-A Driver in Pasco, WA. MUST have a minimum of 2 years of CDL-A experience.
Duties and responsibilities
- Ability to work NIGHTSHIFT Tuesday to Saturday 12:30 am - 1 pm.
- Home daily.
- Touch freight must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
- MUST have 2 years of CDL-A experience.
- Must have experience driving in snow and over mountain passes and have the ability to chain up.
- Knowledge of DOT mountain pass regulations.
- Ability to operate a pallet jack.
- Exceptional customer contact and driving skills.
- Drivers will be required to interact with customers, warehouse leaders and associates, and store leader and associates.
- Drivers will also be expected to systemically update orders via a handheld device.
- Communicate delivery updates to customers.
- Any additional duties as assigned.
- Climb in and out of delivery cab to accommodate customer deliveries throughout the day.
Qualifications
- Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping and climbing.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
- Valid, active Class A Driver's License.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record and Background.
- 2-years of CDL Class A Driving Experience.
- Must pass DOT physical, criminal check and drug screen.
- As a CDL Class A Driver, you must be a team player with excellent customer service skills and the commitment to succeed.
- Qualified candidates are self-motivated, responsible, highly organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment all with a positive attitude.
