Responsibilities
- Provide professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to individual patient needs.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their concerns, medical history, and treatment goals.
- Educate clients on self-care practices and post-treatment recommendations to enhance results and support ongoing wellness.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment in compliance with health regulations and industry standards.
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and session details accurately in accordance with medical terminology and physiology knowledge.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals or occupational health teams when necessary to develop comprehensive pain management strategies.
- Stay current with industry trends, certifications, and best practices through continuous education, especially in med spa techniques and advanced massage therapies.
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification.
- Familiar with manual therapy.
- Proven experience in patient service, patient assessment, and delivering effective massage treatments.
- Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect empathetically with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Familiarity with occupational health principles and experience working in a medical setting is highly desirable.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
