Estimator
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project are accounted for. This role requires a strong understanding of construction management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Estimator will work closely with sales and construction to deliver precise pricing.
Duties
- Analyze blueprints, plans, and other documentation to prepare project duration for erection and dismantle of product, pricing consumable items, material rental, and labor estimates.
- Utilize AutoCAD or Avontos software to create detailed estimates for various construction projects.
- Collaborate with project management teams to ensure that all project specifications are met and captured during the bid process.
- Preparing details drawings along with communicating with Engineer over stamped drawings.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather necessary information.
- Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and intercompany employees to facilitate effective communication throughout the estimating process.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry is essential.
- Proficiency in using estimating software such as AutoCAD or Avontus is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of construction site operations and project management principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail in pricing.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with cost control methods and construction management practices is beneficial.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
