We are looking for a caregiver who is experienced with working with clients with Lewy Body Dementia and sundowning. Experience with redirecting and refocusing are a must.

What you’ll do
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of an individual with Lewy Body Dementia.
- Assist client with minimal Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) preparation to promote independence and dignity.
- Monitor and document vital signs, medication administration, and changes in patient conditions using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
- Provide specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and other developmental disabilities to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
Basic qualifications
- Experience working with Lewy Body Dementia and sundowning, refocusing and redirecting.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide or equivalent training in caregiving practices.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and best practices in patient care.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with hospice care principles and long-term care experience is a plus.
- CPR certification is a plus.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
