Overview
Honey Berry Cafe has an opportunity for Highly Skilled and friendly Experienced Servers to join our restaurant team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the smooth operation of the dining area, and maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere. This is a fast-paced and rewarding role that requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a friendly and attentive manner, taking the time to understand their needs and preferences.
- Manage tables effectively, ensuring that all guests receive prompt and courteous service.
- Ensure the dining area is clean and well-maintained at all times, including clearing tables, wiping down surfaces, and restocking supplies.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including setting up tables, replenishing condiments, and performing end-of-shift cleaning tasks.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
- Provide exceptional guest services, including handling special requests and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to the restaurant's sanitation and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Experience in Fast-Paced Breakfast Lunch Service Environment.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on providing a welcoming and attentive environment for guests.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy trays or equipment, and to stand for extended periods.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and cocktails.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and basic accounting principles.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, and holidays.
