Long Island Skin, Lash and Brow Academy is seeking a reliable, professional Nail Instructor to join our instructional team for our New York State Nail Specialty Program.
REQUIRED: Applicants must currently hold an active New York State Nail Specialty License or New York State Cosmetology License and must have held one of these licenses for no less than two years. Candidates who do not meet both requirements cannot be considered.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about nails, professionalism, education, and helping students prepare for New York State licensing and real-world success.
Schedule:
- Thursdays: 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM
- Fridays: 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM
- Saturdays: 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Teach both theory and hands-on nail training
- Prepare students for NYS written and practical examinations
- Maintain attendance and student records
- Uphold school policies and NYS standards
- Create a positive and professional classroom environment
Requirements:
- Current, active New York State Nail Specialty License or New York State Cosmetology License — required
- Must have held one of these New York State licenses for at least two years — required
- Minimum 2 years of industry experience
- Strong professionalism and reliability
- Comfortable teaching theory and practical instruction
- Previous teaching experience is a plus, but not required
