What You’ll Do
As a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist, you will:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each child’s needs, goals, and family priorities
- Provide direct speech therapy services in the home setting
- Support skill development related to speech, language, communication, social interaction, feeding, and functional independence
- Gain exposure to pediatric feeding with mentorship and support available
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans to support meaningful outcomes
- Partner closely with parents and caregivers to encourage carryover between visits
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated, child-centered care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluations, daily notes, and progress reports
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence, CCC-SLP, preferred
- Clinical Fellows may be considered based on supervision and mentorship availability
- Pediatric experience preferred, but not required
- Feeding experience or interest in feeding mentorship is a plus
- Home health experience is a plus
- Current CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel within the assigned service area
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and family-centered approach to care
