Duties
- Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, and developing team members to deliver outstanding food service experiences
- Oversee food preparation and kitchen operations, ensuring quality standards are consistently met while maintaining food safety and hygiene regulations
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and sales processing
- Coordinate shift schedules, manage staff assignments, and ensure smooth daily operations in a quick service or casual dining environment
- Implement staff training programs focused on food handling, customer service excellence, and safety procedures
- Monitor restaurant performance metrics, address customer feedback promptly, and develop strategies for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in a food service setting with supervising responsibilities
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential
- Knowledge of inventory control methods and food safety standards including HACCP protocols
- Experience in fast food or quick service restaurants; fine dining or casual dining experience is a plus
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate staff effectively
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs, and optimize operational efficiency
- Hospitality management background with experience in catering or banquet settings preferred
- Strong communication skills for interviewing potential team members and providing ongoing training & development
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of customer service
