Overview:
We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Assistant Cabinet Shop Technician to support the fabrication, assembly, and finishing of custom cabinetry and woodworking projects. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, enjoys working with their hands, and takes pride in producing high-quality craftsmanship.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in building custom cabinets and millwork.
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely.
- Measure, cut, sand, assemble, and install cabinet components.
- Help with finishing, staining, painting, and hardware installation.
- Read and follow shop drawings and work orders.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Load and unload materials and assist with deliveries and installations as needed.
- Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet company standards.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years woodworking, carpentry, cabinet-making, or construction experience is required.
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
- Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team.
