Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, assisting the dentist during root canal procedures, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the clinic.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations, root canal therapy, and eventually apicoectomy surgeries ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Take dental X-rays and CT scans while adhering to safety standards.
- Taking notes about patients history with the tooth and/or teeth they have been referred for.
- Educate patients on post-treatment care.
- Prepare, clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Monitor and document sterilization equipment maintenance
Experience
- Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred
- Oral Radiology license is preferred
- Knowing dental terminology and/or teeth numbers is preferred
