Mix-Tek Pavement Solutions is growing at a staggering pace. We are a small business that produces non-hazardous asphalt sealcoat. We manufacture our sealcoat right here in the heart of Necedah, WI from early spring until late fall. Once we produce the seal coat we deliver it only to bulk tank clients within Wisconsin and Minnesota Monday- Friday in tanker trailers. We have added additional large clients this year and are looking for a Class A CDL driver to help us get our product out. Your day would start at 7:30 am at the plant and fill your tanker trailer. From there you drive to our Client and deliver your load by filling up their bulk tank. Then head back. There's no brokers, no waiting to be unloaded, and no over nights. Our furthest client is 5 hours away. Most are within 3 hours.
For this role we pay a flat salary, based on your experience. Our CDL class A drivers must have a clean driving record and have a minimum of two years experience. A tanker endorsement is required but if you do not have one, we will help you obtain it.
This role is seasonal, but if preferred, once sealcoat season is over we can transition you to OTR hauling freight. Upon hiring, we will work with you on how you would like that part of your role to look. Some drivers choose long term roles being on road for weeks at a time, and some prefer 1 week at a time. We will work with you to help accommodate your schedule. Regardless of how you pick to be scheduled we pay 30% of the load.
We also currently have dedicated OTR positions available as well. To manufacture our seal coat, we need ingredients. In this instance you would haul freight from the local area of the plant and then bring it near by where one of our ingredients is located. You then would haul those ingredients back to the plant. The pay for this can be 30% of the load for freight, and then 30% of spot rate for your return trip or salary, whichever you prefer at the time of hiring.
