Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff during shifts, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food production
- Oversee food preparation processes, including cooking, plating, and presentation to meet our dining standards
- Manage inventory control and food handling procedures to minimize waste and optimize costs
- Ensure compliance with all food safety sanitizing procedures and health regulations to maintain a safe kitchen environment
- Support the training and mentoring of team members to foster skill development and a positive work environment
- Maintain accurate records related to food production, inventory management, and shift reports
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a kitchen environment
- Background in food production and catering
- Familiarity with inventory management, cost control, and food safety sanitizing procedures
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining high standards of hospitality and service excellence
- Knowledge of kitchen management systems, shift management practices, and food industry regulations
- Previous experience working in restaurant or hospitality settings that emphasize quality service
